Actalent Structural Engineer in De Pere, Wisconsin

Job Title: Structural EngineerJob Description

This position involves the analysis and design of structural components for the upgrade of industrial applications, including assessing existing structures and detailing equipment support framing and foundations. The role encompasses performing front-end studies for clients across various industries such as Food/Beverage, Pulp/Paper, and Consumer Industrial. Responsibilities include 3D structural modeling/analysis, designing/modeling foundations and platforms, equipment framing, and relocation of existing or addition of new equipment throughout client facilities. The role does not involve full building design.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct 3D structural modeling and analysis

  • Design and model foundations and platforms

  • Create equipment framing for new and existing structures

  • Relocate existing equipment and add new equipment in client facilities

  • Perform concrete design and pipe rack hangers

  • Carry out front-end studies for prospective clients to project completion

  • Work under a PE with the opportunity to obtain your own PE license

Essential Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree in Structural Engineering or related field

  • 2+ years of experience as a Structural Engineer

  • 2+ years of experience performing full structural project responsibilities including proposal, design, and analysis

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience preferred

  • Proficiency with AutoCAD

  • Experience in industrial applications, specifically in Food/Beverage, Pulp/Paper, and Consumer Industrial sectors

Work Environment

This position is 100% remote. Necessary equipment and technology will be provided to facilitate a productive work-from-home environment.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $47.00
