We are currently seeking highly motivated students for 2024 Retail Ops Intern to work hybrid for one of our commercial Retail Operations department, located in multiple locations. These paid internships will last approximately 10 weeks (approx dates 6/2/2025 – 8/8/25).

The Retail Operations intern will work on specific projects, designed to help them gain real-world, hands-on experience working independently on:

  • Ensuring effortless customer experiences by performing operational duties in one or more of the functions of the order-to-cash process.

  • Operational excellence and cross functional communications, which includes collaborating with team members and stakeholders to ensure seamless customer support.

  • Problem solving and issue resolution, which includes using appropriate judgment and analytical abilities, leveraging subject matter experts when necessary, to investigate discrepancies in work processes.

  • Projects, improvements and innovations to actively challenge the status quo; driving workflow automation and process enhancements with innovative and sustainable solutions.

  • Maintaining an understanding of business, contractual, regulatory and market/tariff policies and ensure workflow processes are aligned. Ensure that all Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) key controls and other company policies are followed.

The intern will work with one of the following Retail Ops departments: Commercial & Industrial Gas, Power, Mass Markets, Shared Services, or Payment Operations.

  • Louisville, KY

  • DePere, WI

M INIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Business Administration, Finance, Math, Accounting, Data Science, Data Analytics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Communications, Marketing, or Sustainability & Energy related degrees.

  • Minimum GPA: 2.8 Cumulative / 3.0 Major

  • A track record of outstanding academic performance.

  • Eagerness to contribute in a team-oriented environment.

  • Ability to work creativity and analytically in a problem-solving environment.

  • Excellent leadership, communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
