VELOCITY MACHINE INC 2nd Shift Assembly & Warehouse Support in DE PERE, Wisconsin

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Summary: Assembly & Warehouse Support is responsible for providing assistance to our Assembly areas. Responsibilities include picking parts, assembling and preparing kits, shipping and receiving duties and providing any needed assistance in the warehouse. Essential Duties and Responsibilities will include the following: Duties may be modified or additional duties assigned. Prepare, package and verify product kits to ensure all parts are accounted for. Review the Foreman\'s report daily and ensure all orders are complete by the scheduled end date. Assemble parts according to print and specifications following established procedures. Maintain inventory by keeping area organized. Properly record and document completed parts and scrap to jobs. Material packaging according to job information. Assist with shipping and receiving duties to include entry into customer and shipping portals, creating labels, contacting shippers, etc. Providing updated information to help improve our kitting process. Observe Velocity Machine Inc safety practices in the shop area at all times. All other duties and projects as assigned. Qualifications: 1-3 years manufacturing experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred; High school diploma or equivalent required Experience reading blueprints Proficient computer skills Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks Detail oriented Previous forklift training a plus Physical Demands: Medium work that includes moving and lifting objects up to 50 lbs Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers Operation of machinery and power tools Ability to remain in stationary position, often standing, for the duration of shift The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
