Aerotek Seasonal General Labor 16.80HRLY 40-60hr Weeks in Dayton, Oregon

Job Title: Seasonal General Laborer Role * Ideally March - August

Will be conducting pre-screens this week, interviews on-site the week of March 10th or sooner and onboard by March 17th to start for orientation.

Candidates must be comfortable working repetitive general labor for a fruit farm and be comfortable with outdoor weather conditions, wearing PPE, working OT 40-60hour weeks on 10-12 hour days. This position is very labor intensive and is a great foot in the door for anyone looking to gain experience in the Manufacturing/Agricultural or Production Industries. This is a Day Shift position starting at 16.80HRLY with compliance and need for reliable transportation.

Job Description

This is a contract position for the harvest season, responsible for performing various tasks in the tote bringing area. The majority of the work involves moving pipes and lifting items weighing up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

  • Moving hoses

  • Cleaning totes

  • Performing miscellaneous tasks within the tote bringing area

Essential Skills

  • 1+ years of production experience

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs continuously

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience in general labor, production, packing, and sorting

Work Environment

You will be working in a large maraschino cherry production site and will be exposed to outdoor elements. This position involves extensive physical activity, including lifting and moving irrigation equipment.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.80 - $16.80/hr.
