Dayton Children's Hospital Staff Support Clinician in Dayton, Ohio

Facility:Dayton Children's - Main CampusDepartment:Employee Health Support StaffSchedule:Full timeHours:40Job Details:The Staff Support Clinician (SSC) will provide and coordinate emotional and psychological support for staff during particularly stressful events. Of particular importance is the need for the SSC to be available real-time and have flexibility to provide care and guidance to peer supporters and staff that work a variety of locations and shifts.

The SSC will report to the Senior Staff Support Clinician and support their role in collaborating with wellbeing team in the assessment, planning, coordination, implementation, and evaluation of staff support program. A focus on interdisciplinary relationships and mentoring is key for the SSC position.

Must have excellent communication and mentorship skills. Must be extremely well organized and approachable to all staff. Maintains an awareness of events that impact staff’s mental health and resiliency. Routinely follows up with staff that have experienced critical events.
