Senior Compensation Analyst / Specialist ID 2024-1875 Job Locations US Workplace Type Remote Overview The Senior Compensation Specialist is responsible for ensuring the organization's compensation structures are competitive, equitable, and compliant with regulations. This role involves conducting market research, analyzing compensation data, and developing salary structures and policies. The Senior Compensation Specialist will also lead benchmarking studies, maintain compensation databases, and conduct pay equity analyses. Additionally, this position requires managing compensation-related projects, providing training to HR staff and managers, and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders. Responsibilities Essential Functions: Conduct market research and analyze compensation data to ensure competitive pay structures. Evaluate job positions to determine classification, salary grade, and job descriptions. Develop and administer salary structures, compensation policies and procedures to ensure they are current and effective. Conduct regular benchmarking studies to compare the organization's compensation practices with Industry Standards. Maintain and update compensation databases, ensuring data accuracy and integrity. Conduct pay equity analyses to identify and address any disparities in compensation. Lead or participate in compensation-related projects, such as system implementations or process improvements. Provide guidance to HR and management on compensation-related issues. Provide training to HR staff and managers on compensation-related topics and best practices. Coordinate with internal HR comms to create and distribute communication material to educate employees about compensation programs and policies. Manage relationships with external compensation consultants and vendors. Prepare and present reports on compensation metrics and trends. Assist in the preparation of compensation budgets and forecasts. Ensure compensation practices comply with federal, state, and local regulations. Qualifications Required Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. 5+ years of experience in compensation analysis or a related field. Strong analytical skills, proficiency in HRIS and compensation software, excellent communication skills, and attention to detail. Preferred Qualifications: Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) or similar certification. Experience with advanced statistical analysis and data visualization tools. Experience with Dayforce Physical Qualifications: Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time.
