LINQUEST CORPORATION Operations Research Analyst in Dayton, Ohio

Description LinQuest is seeking an Operations Research Analyst to join our team in Dayton, OH. US Citizenship and the ability to obtain a DoD security clearance are required. LinQuest is seeking a full-time Operations Research Analyst to join the team that supports the F-35 Fleet Management Office (FMO) to develop and manage solutions to support future F-35 logistics and sustainment requirements. LinQuest compiles, measures, analyzes, and visualizes disparate data sets of F-35 performance, cost, and sustainment metrics to report status and answer questions internal and external to the USAF. LinQuest desires an individual with experience analyzing data, developing metrics, and developing models to evaluate current and future capabilities. The individual should also have knowledge of operations research techniques such as simulation and forecasting. Responsibilities: Extract and aggregate data from multiple systems for analysis and metrics development Create data visualizations to drive insights Work and coordinate closely with government analysts Translate work tasks into work requirements in support of client projects Formulate new procedures and methods to answer questions, collect data, and assess projects Apply knowledge of operations research, mathematics, and analytical techniques to assigned work Stay abreast of emerging technologies and professional developments to serve as technical expert on model simulations Conduct studies to evaluate, inform, and improve decision-analytic models Prepare briefings, papers, and summaries necessary to achieve organizational goals and objectives Integrate data into probability statistics to identify trends or relationships among variables Required Skills & Experience: BS degree in operations research, mathematics or related field, or equivalent experience Ability to analyze, interpret, and apply operations research methods, and procedures and recommend effective solutions Develop and run analytical models with software using coding languages such as Python, R and C++ Motivation to seek out opportunities to improve processes and share knowledge with peers and analytic community Willingness and initiative to share knowledge with peers and the broader analytic community US Citizenship and the ability to obtain a Secret clearance Preferred Skills & Experience: MS degree in operations research, mathematics or related field, or equivalent experience Advanced knowledge of applying scientific methods and techniques to analyze systems and software Ability to identify and support development of key metrics and applications used to evaluate current and future capabilities Experience with tools such as R, Python, Tableau, SIMIO, Excel VBA, MATLAB, SAS and JAVA or JMP Familiarity or previous experience working with the Department of Defense Knowledge in aerospace systems, spacecraft subsystems design, or mission operations Experience with discrete event simulation and simulation tools Experience with Tableau, Power BI or similar tools Active Secret clearance Why LinQuest? 20 years of excellence from concept to capability.
