Operational and Commercial Logistics SME Job Locations US-OH-Dayton ID 2024-5640 Category Logistics Type Full Time Hours/Week 40 Location : Name Wright Patterson AFB Position Summary Odyssey Systems has an exciting new opportunity for an Operational and Commercial Logistics SME, supporting the KC-46 Program, Wright Patterson AFB, OH. Responsibilities Duties include, but not limited to: Provide product assistance to the PM and Product Support Manager (PSM) for the execution of the PSM's duties as the Total Life Cycle Systems Manager. Provide assistance to the sustainment teams through data analysis, acquisition management, procurement, and other associated logistics data of critical assets, insurance spares, tooling, and related parts and material. Provide assistance to the development and maintenance of Post Production Support Plans (PPSP), Post Production Transition Plans (PPTP), and Transition to Post Production (TPP) and shall develop and execute requirements in phased strategies for PPTP and TPP. Apply knowledge and experience in acquisition logistics philosophy, policies and procedures to Air Force systems, subsystems, and equipment procurement activities, post award project/program management tasks, and acquisition programs throughout their life cycles. Knowledgeable in software development, sustainment, and depot avionics testing and repair. Assist in planning, organizing, and managing critical aspects of the development, production, and/or deployment of capabilities utilizing DoD, USAF, and local logistics policies, procedures, and functionalities, and financial data requirements of acquisition logistics disciplines. The Contractor will also ensure that supply systems and procedures are followed per USAF guidance. Will furnish supply support on-site at Aerospace Maintenance and Regeneration Group (AMARG) at Davis-Monthan AFB, AZ, while regeneration activities are ongoing. Any Contractor working at or assigned to AMARG shall conduct and assist in supply studies, data collection, parts verification, supportability analysis, and parts or maintenance reviews. Coordinate all logistics elements including but not limited to spares, Support Equipment (SE), training, facilities, technical data, and provisioning to ensure all integrated logistics support requirements for the program are identified and tailored to the directorate's needs. Assigned personnel shall perform as key participants in developing long term weapon system supportability approaches that further the Government's acquisition strategy goals and objectives. Obtain needed logistics resources and participate in site surveys and program reviews. Perform analyses of sustainment or related Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages (DMSMS) issues and recommend suitable replacements. Provide support to accomplish the generation and review of logistics support documentation that includes the following: Integrated Logistics Support Plans (ILSP), Life Cycle Sustainment Plans (LCSP), Technical Orders (TOs), technical manuals, electronic technical manuals, illustrated parts breakdowns, and work specifications to ensure the documentation meets Government logistics support requirements. Assist in integrated logistics support management team meetings, program management reviews, and other related meetings. Assist the Government in performing logistics support analyses. Develop, modify, prepare and/or validate documentation in relation to automated logistics or maintenance data reporting systems, and management information systems ensuring all pertinent supply data is captured and recorded.
