Who We Need We are seeking a highly motivated and technically adept individual to join our team as a Mendix Low-code Application Developer Intern. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our experienced development team, gaining hands-on experience in building, testing, and deploying Mendix applications to address real-world business challenges. This position is a paid internship of 2-3 months at $25 per hour part-time. All candidates must be United States citizens. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and understand business needs. Assist in the design, development, and customization of Mendix applications according to project requirements and best practices. Assist in the configuration of application workflows, user interfaces, and data models within the Mendix platform. Assist in conducting unit testing and participate in code reviews to ensure high-quality deliverables. Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues throughout the development lifecycle. Document application designs, technical specifications, and development processes. Stay updated on emerging trends and best practices in low-code development and Mendix platform capabilities. Support ongoing maintenance and enhancement activities for existing Mendix applications. Your Qualifications Required Enrollment in a Mendix University participating school and certification from the Mendix University Program. Experience developing applications with the Mendix platform. Working towards a degree in Computer Programming, Application Development, Information Technology, Web Design or a related field. A minimum 3.0 GPA is preferred. Solid understanding of Agile Development. Experience in Microsoft Teams, Excel, and other Office Applications. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Capability to work well on a team and coordinate with staff at all levels. Strong conceptual, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Solid understanding of business and information technology processes. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to express complex technical concepts in business terms. Possess knowledge of Mendix's capabilities to identify and resolve any bugs or issues, and review developed stories. Have hands-on experience in establishing unit testing within Mendix.
