Position Overview Riverside Research is seeking a Junior Software Engineer to work closely with the Government customer to implement state-of the-art open System-of-systems Technology Integration Tool Chain (STITCHES) software applications for an upcoming Air Force program. The chosen candidate will serve as a technical member of a team consisting of software engineers, data architects, cybersecurity engineers and researchers to develop and demonstrate technology and advanced component prototype solutions to evolve and expand emerging software interoperability standards and approaches for current and next-generation Air Force and DoD weapon systems. The engineer will provide mature, robust solutions to rapidly integrate mission systems, facilitate mission system capability evolution, as well as sustained competition across the system life cycle. All Riverside Research opportunities require U.S. Citizenship. Responsibilities Architect, design, implement, test, and develop high quality applications utilizing coding languages to include C++, Java, Python, and others Implement unit, functional, regression, and acceptance tests Identify and resolve software issues Conduct peer software reviews Other duties as assigned Qualifications Ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI security clearance Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or other related STEM degree 2+ years relevant experience as a developer Experience with two of the following programming languages C++, Java, and/or Python Experience with XML Experience with source control (Git) Global Comp $58,000 - $140,000 This represents the typical compensation range for this position based on experience, location and other factors.
