We are seeking an HR Director/Human Resources Business Partner to support our Geospatial Sector. Ideally, this role would be located within regions that are close to a Woolpert office, but we offer the flexibility for this role to be fully remote within the United States. This role is responsible to align business objectives with employees and management globally across the geospatial business sector. This position will manage all aspects of employee relations and organizational development, including implementation of all related HR policies and programs. The incumbent is responsible for providing consultation to senior management on human resource-related initiatives in support of organizational strategic goals. Ensure compliance with international, federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, anticipating legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising management on needed actions. The successful HRBP acts as an employee champion and change agent. Responsibilities Essential Functions: The ideal candidate will have industry related experience to enable them to work with all stakeholders within the Geospatial sector to develop and implement HR policies and programs in support of corporate culture and organizational strategies. Support of programs aimed to attract, measure, develop and manage an organization's talent pool and participate in workforce planning for the sector. Talent acquisition activities, ensuring regulatory compliance, from legal audit perspective. Maintain relevant and current market specific compensation benchmarking data and ensure all related employee job descriptions are accurate and up to date. Conduct performance reviews with department managers and monitor employee productivity, attitudes, and performance results. Provide timely and relevant feedback and metrics with respect to the same. Deliver organizational development and employee training programs. Employee counseling services for personal issues and company complaints. Ensure employee safety, wellness, welfare, health, and happiness. Partner with the Talent Acquisition Manager to assist with recruiting and retention of staff, conduct interviews with candidate finalists, as well as reference and background checks, as appropriate. Participates in the development of annual recruiting budget. Qualifications BA/BS and/or eight (8) years related experience. HR certification preferred. Must be familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the HR field. Ability to travel as needed. Must have demonstrated ability to handle highly sensitive and confidential information discreetly. The ability to manage global policy and understand technical procedures, or governmental regulations; ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries and complaints.
