Role Summary: Reporting to the Distribution Center Manager, the Distribution Center Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the warehouse, the drivers, and the deliveries, which may include scheduling deliveries, route coordination, recruiting drivers, maintaining vehicle service and inspection logs, scheduling maintenance, supervision of staff, and maintaining warehouse cleanliness. Exciting work you will do: The essential duties and responsibilities of the Distribution Center Supervisor position will consist of, but are not limited to, the following: Supervise and direct performance and outcomes of the owner-associates, communicating performance expectations and holding the team accountable to those expectations, including performance coaching & disciplinary actions Drive organizational effectiveness and Service Excellence through developing processes, leading teams, enabling a highly motivated work environment, and creating innovative approaches for improvement Interviews, hires, schedules, assigns work to and evaluates work performance of staff Ensure adequate staffing levels daily Coordinate with Territory Owner-Associates on daily routing requirements Manages appropriate queues inside the Kendall business system Controls the flow of material in and out of the warehouse Maintain Direct Through Stock processes and customers requirements Maintain warehouse cleanliness to ensure product flow and accessibility Research shipping/receiving discrepancies Training "other" owner associates on proper procedures Perform defined warehouse activities specific to the receipt, placement into inventory, selection for shipment, and shipment of stock Pick orders accurately and promptly Pack orders Receive inventory accurately and promptly Restock inventory in designated storage areas Truck loading and unloading according to established procedures Inventory cycle counting Accurately identify and count inventory in assigned areas Participate in ongoing general housekeeping of warehouse Perform other duties and projects as assigned Competencies you possess: Service Excellence Results, Action Oriented Accountability and Responsibility Teamwork and collaboration Developing Talent Managerial Courage Building Team Morale Process Management What you'll need: Work Experience: 3 years' experience working in warehouse operations Education: High school diploma or equivalent Analytics/Computer Skills: Prior experience working with
