Director of Data Analytics ID 2025-2081 Job Locations US-OH-Dayton | US Workplace Type Hybrid Overview Director of Data & Analytics USA Job Summary Reporting directly to the CFO, the Director of Data & Analytics will lead the design, development, and implementation of Woolpert's analytics solutions while advancing the company's overall data management practices. This role involves collaborating with teams across the organization to meet operational reporting needs and identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency through data and analytics solutions. Additionally, the Director will establish and oversee the organization's data governance program, promoting improved data management practices. Responsibilities Strategy & Planning Develop the short and long-term strategy for the Data and Analytics program including data governance, data management, data retention, and data analytics. Partner with various business groups to capture functional requirements and understand business needs. Maintain backlog of data and analytics work items and work with executives to continually prioritize the backlog. Establish, maintain, and enforce practices and standards for how data is leveraged throughout the enterprise. Stay up to date on the latest trends and technologies that impact the data and analytics discipline. Operational Management Assist in providing end-user support to enable the effective use of business analytics technology, platforms, data and business intelligence solutions. Develop, implement, and maintain all key BI and data management policies and procedures, including those for MDM/BI/EDW architecture, data centers, security, standards, monitoring, and service provision. Manage the deployment, monitoring, maintenance, development, upgrade, and support of BI systems, including data architecture, governance, data integration, high availability, security, and data privacy. Manage operations staffing, including recruitment, supervision, scheduling, development, evaluation, and disciplinary actions across multiple global locations. Establish and maintain regular written and in-person communications with the organization's executives, department heads, and end users regarding information-based decision making. Knowledge & Experience Strong technical knowledge of data management systems, data warehousing methodology, data quality, data modelling, data governance, analytics, and predictive modeling. Strong technical knowledge of current data management trends, including Azure data services. Proven experience in building and managing virtual teams. Extensive knowledge of SQL and Microsoft Power BI / Fabric Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations Experience in BI/data warehousing planning and development. Excellent understanding of the organization's goals and objectives. Summary knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws in multiple countries.
