Benefits Analyst BC Forward is currently seeking a highly motivated Benefits Analyst in Remote. Job Title: Benefits Analyst Duration: 06+ Months Location: Remote Anticipated Start Date: 10/1/2024 (Please note this is the target date and is subject to change. BCforward will send official notice ahead of a confirmed start date.) Job Type: Contract Pay Rate Range : $65 - $70/Hr Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.). Worker Schedule: Monday To Friday 40hr a week Description Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in HR or Management required * Minimum of five (5) years of experience in employee benefits with solid working knowledge of health & welfare, defined contribution, disability and leave programs * CEBS and/or equivalent benefits certification preferred * Proficiency in Microsoft Office * Strong HRIS skills preferred * Ability to plan and evaluate programs * Ability to develop, plan and implement short and long-range goals * Ability to analyze problems and develop creative solutions to benefit issues * Ability to make administrative/procedural decisions and judgments * Good written, oral and interpersonal communications skills * Decision making and problem-solving resolution skills * Ability to work independently * Knowledge of benefits-related laws, regulations, principles, methods and techniques * Knowledge and application of customer service standards and procedures * Strong attention to detail * Critical listening and thinking skills * Ability to negotiate and manage contractual arrangements * Ability to work in a team environment and to foster cooperative team relationships * General office environment; may be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time Duties and Responsibilities: * Must be knowledgeable of 401(k) retirement and disability/leave management plans and programs * Evaluate and compare existing company benefits to other regional and same-industry employers to ensure benefits package remains competitive * Recommend new or modified plans. Work with insurance broker to obtain bids. Evaluate quotes and make recommendations to management. * Participate in annual health and welfare benefits renewal planning. Evaluate changes, develop cost information for new or changed plans and make recommendation to management on cost sharing between employer and employee * Ensure the development and execution of administrative policies and amendments governing employee benefit plans that are in compliance with state and federal regulations * Develop/revise benefits communication materials * Collaborate with carrier to ensure enrollment system accurately reflects changes * Manage entire enrollment process * Counsel employees and managers on policies, procedures and benefit offerings by providing accurate and legal information that acts in the best interest of the company * Collect, assess and report on program participation and costs * Partner with benefit carriers to assure process improvement and delivery of plans and programs * Leverage knowledge to support benefits initiatives * Act as mentor for Associate Benefit Analyst and Benefit Analyst roles * Assist in the benefits portion of the new hire orientation program * Maintain accurate benefit files and records * Perform any other job duties aApply here: https://www.aplitrak.com/?adid=YmJnZW5lcmljLjk1NDI5LjEwNTA4QGJjZm9yd2FyZGNvbXAuYXBsaXRyYWsuY29t
