Position Overview:
Provides overall supervision of the activities and resources of the department. Establishes work priorities and assists staff in resolving operational issues/problems. Implements and enforces adherence to department, affiliate, operating unit, and/or system standards, policies and procedures and applicable standards and/or laws and regulations. Collaborates with others to coordinate services, streamline work flow, standardize procedures, and/or drive positive outcomes.

EDUCATION:
Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma.
Bachelor's
TYPICAL EXPERIENCE:
- 5 years of recent relevant experience.
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
Demonstrated knowledge of PC, especially word processing, database and spreadsheet software (proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point). Familiar with external and internal database program and practical applications in the department.
Proven working relationship with medical staff or physician groups.
Demonstrated leadership skills, including team building, and coaching/mentoring with the ability to motivate and engage others.
Organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple projects while delivering quality service/achieving business results.
Verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrates commitment to providing exceptional customer service and responding to customer needs/requests in a prompt, courteous manner.
Ability to identify and resolve technical and operational issues problems as guided by policies, and procedures, or guidance from leadership.

Pay Range is $36.59 to $54.89 / hour
The salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location. This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable by area where the position may be filled. Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, department equity, training and organizational needs. Base pay is just one piece of the total rewards program offered by Sutter Health. Eligible roles also qualify for a comprehensive benefits package.
