Compensation range: $155,000 to $195,000. Based in any of our offices (CA, OR, or AZ) or remote.

DATA STRATEGY & ANALYTICS LEADER

As the Data Strategy and Analytics Leader, you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive plans for data management, visualization, monitoring, and predictive analytics. You will oversee this service offering across the firm, build and manage a team of skilled professionals, and support both internal and client-facing data initiatives.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategic Vision:Collaborate in the creation and execution of a strategic vision for data management, visualization, monitoring, and predictive analytics.
Design and Implement:Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of data infrastructure and analytics platforms.
Integrate Technologies:Oversee the integration of new technologies (in collaboration with IT) to enhance data capabilities and drive process improvements.
Team Leadership and Development:Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing team of data professionals.
Innovate and Improve: Collaborate with West Yost team members to evaluate and enhance internal processes, ensuring efficient execution and strong internal client service.
Data Insights:Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to support business decision-making.
Ensure Quality:Ensure data quality, security, and compliance with regulations.
Identify and Develop Opportunities:Collaborate with others to explore potential opportunities and formulate strategies to convert leads into projects.
Client Services:Develop and deliver data services to clients, including data analysis, reporting, and predictive analytics solutions.
You will be supported by a collaborative network of functional, operational, and technical leaders across the company that share a common goal of team success.
QUALIFICATIONS
EXPERIENCE
Professional Experience: 20+ years of experience in data analytics, data science, or a related field.
Leadership Experience: Demonstrated ability to lead and manage cross-functional teams.
TECHNICAL SKILLS
Data Analysis Tools: Proficiency in tools like SQL, Python, R, and data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
Machine Learning: Knowledge of machine learning algorithms and frameworks.
Technical Communications: Ability to communicate complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
Data Security: Experience with data governance, security, and compliance best practices.
BUSINESS ACUMEN
Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and align data strategy with business goals.
Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Project Management: Experience in managing projects, timelines, and resources effectively.
EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND
Bachelors and Advanced Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
This position may require travel to West Yost and client offices. Applicant must carry a valid driver's license. Applicant must also be able to meet West Yost’s rules and be eligible to drive for business. West Yost’s insurance carrier reserves the right to exclude applicants based on their driving record.
