Trane Technologies Enterprise Applications department is a is looking for a Logistics and Warehousing Portfolio Leader to join our team. This position serves as a strategic connection point between logistics, warehousing, and information systems and requires expertise in all three realms. We are looking for a high-impact servant leader who will inspire success in our people while advancing our logistics, transportation, and warehouse management capabilities. This role is global, reports to the Corporate ISC IT Director, and partners directly with Corporate Logistics team and SBU operations.

Where is the work:
Due to the nature of this role, this position has been designated as a Hybrid work schedule with work performed onsite 3 days each week.
What you will do:
Portfolio Scope :
This portfolio includes the processes and information technology (IT) systems that enable our company’s shipping, logistics, warehousing, and trade compliance capabilities
The scope of IT systems includes our transportation management systems (TMS), warehouse management systems (WMS), connections to ERP, and a host of partner systems that enable visibility, payment, rating, etc.
Point of contact and relationship manager for Corporate Logistics VP (and associated Directors
Partners closely with Business specific operations and IT organizations
Product/Portfolio Management (Strategy and Partnering) :
For the next two years, primary responsibility is to ensure business outcomes and program success while re-imagining and replacing the company’s primary TMS.
Closely partner with corporate and business strategy for logistics, trade, and warehousing.
Lead strategy, vision, and road mapping for this portfolio including business outcomes, business capabilities, technology landscape, system capabilities, key features/functionality, timelines, milestones, and investment.
Shared accountability for driving/enabling breakthrough performance and business outcomes such as freight productivity and on time delivery.
Drive adoption to and extract value from industry and/or company best practices, processes, systems, and tools across sites, businesses, and regions.
Manages intra-project/product/portfolio dependencies and their relationship and impact.
Continually modernize and evolve our technology landscape to minimize technical debt, ensure security, and be a delight for business users and IT teams.
Agile-Product Leadership (in partnership with product teams and product owners) :
Ensure vision, strategy, and outcomes of products and initiatives are well understood by the teams delivering and supporting.
Ensure new products, product features and enhancements are identified and prioritized based on customer needs, business value, strategic direction, and technical feasibility.
In partnership with resource managers and delivery leads, ensure a team first, customer focused, self-organizing, and continuously improving environment.
Foster a lean/agile mindset within individuals, product teams, and our organizations.
A relentless drive for continuous improvement and self-learning while embracing servant leadership principles to develop and mentor others.
What you will bring:
Experience leading large agile software development/implementation initiatives with multiple teams working in parallel within the shipping, logistics, and warehousing domain.
Experience using Design Thinking to establish customer and user-centric solutions.
Experience managing the entire product lifecycle from concept to launch to evolve.
Experience integrating delivery and teams with external delivery partners.
Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban
Experience in Lean and/or Shingo
Executive presence including excellent written, oral communication, presentation skills and the ability to grow others through training, mentoring, coaching and advising.
Drives consensus and resolves conflicts quickly and have the ability to facilitate productive meetings at the senior leadership level.
Ability to travel up to 25%
Compensation:
Base Salary: $133,000 - $175,000
Additional Compensation: Total compensation for this role also will include an incentive plan.
