Robert Half is currently recruiting for a Staff Accountant position for a flourishing & reputable local CPA firm. We are seeking experienced professionals with a solid grasp over accounting principles, superb attention to detail, and exceptional interpersonal skills. This role includes critical responsibilities such as managing client queries, maintaining regulatory compliance, and ensuring outstanding service delivery. Key Responsibilities:

• Client Management: Directly interact with clients to gather pertinent tax information, resolve inquiries promptly, and facilitate a seamless tax preparation process.

• Quality Assurance: Review and ensure accuracy and completeness of tax returns prepared by junior staff.

• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain well-organized client files and records in line with Company policies and regulatory requirements.

• Team Collaboration: Work in conjunction with other team members to deliver superior client service and adhere to set deadlines.

• Tax Research: Carry out detailed research on applicable tax regulations, sales tax norms, etc.

• Accounting for multiple clients, including payroll handling (if possible)

  Requirements

Requirements:

• Proven work experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in client accounting or a similar role in a public accounting firm.

• Educational Qualification: Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting preferred

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in QuickBooks (QBs)

Ideally, this new team member would also be able to contribute to tax preparation during our busy tax season.
