We are offering an employment opportunity for an experienced Network Engineer in Davenport, Iowa. The selected candidate will be joining a team that excels in maintaining, understanding, troubleshooting, and resolving networked systems, servers, workstations, and user accounts. This position will provide advanced technical support to ensure the stability and efficiency of our IT infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Handling escalated network/system calls and ensuring timely resolution to minimize downtime and impacts on business operations.

• Implementing and maintaining security measures to safeguard the network from internal and external threats.

• Analyzing and resolving complex network issues, including routing, switching, firewalls, load balancers, VPNs, and wireless networks.

• Participating in or leading the planning, configuration, and deployment of new network devices and services, ensuring seamless integration with existing infrastructure and compliance with industry standards and regulations.

• Assisting in and/or conducting network assessments and audits to analyze current infrastructure, address capacity for immediate and future needs and provide recommendations for improvements.

• Monitoring network performance using advanced tools and techniques, identifying and addressing potential issues proactively to optimize network performance.

• Creating and maintaining detailed network documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and policies.

• Providing expert attention to ensure the stability and efficiency of IT infrastructure.

• Collaborating with a team to share knowledge with clients and team members in their language.

• Building relationships as skillfully as building infrastructure

Requirements • Proficiency in Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) is required.

• Familiarity with Checkpoint is essential.

• Experience with Cisco ASA is needed.

• Ability to work with Cisco Routers is necessary.

• Knowledge of Cisco Technologies is crucial.

• Experience in AB Testing is important.

• Expertise in Backup Technologies is required.

• Strong understanding of Computer Hardware is needed.

• Proficiency in Configuration Management is essential.
