The CAD Programmer Technician will be responsible for generating and controlling programs for production equipment using CAD/CAM software. Provide support to the technical staff during all phases of the product cycle from quoting to production. *Join a great team and work culture! Essential Job Functions: * Provide technical assistance to estimating for quotation purposes regarding machining operations * Evaluate programmability for machining operations * Utilize CAD/CAM to generate program files * Establish and maintain required programming files, directories, and security * Program control from cradle to grave , revision control, and archiving * Ensure posts are in proper order to generate CNC code * Troubleshoot programs as necessary until a capable process yields an acceptable first piece that meets print/customer specification * Ensure the process yields an acceptable first piece that meets the quoted setup and rate.
