Hourly Rate: $29.51 an hour + $1.00 shift differential

JOB DESCRIPTION Title: GENERAL MAINTENANCE MECHANIC B

Department: Maintenance Labor Grade: 12

Supervisor: Maintenance Supervisor Date: March, 1985

Duties:

1. Maintains and assists in installing all equipment in all areas of the plant.

2. Assembles, maintains, disassembles and repairs Fresh Pack or Packaging equipment.

3. Performs a variety of building and grounds maintenance activities.

4. Assists in construction activities as needed.

5. Installs, repairs and maintains motors.

6. Any other duty assigned by management.

Qualifications:

1. Must be able to weld and operate a cutting torch.

2. Must be able to operate a forklift truck.

3. Must have a current, valid driver’s license.

4. Must possess and be able to work with necessary hand tools.

5. Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently.

6. Must be physically capable of performing all duties.

7. Must be able to use mathematics for addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.

8. Must be aware of all safety rules/procedures and be willing to follow them.
