Job Title: Manufacturing Manager Location: Danbury, CT + New Milford, CT

Summary In the Manufacturing Manager position, you'll work closely with our factory production team to ensure that all shift operations are safe, running efficiently and producing top quality products that meet the needs and demands of the business. In this role you will be expected to work closely with the Floor Managers, Floor Supervisors, and Machine Operators. The right candidate for this role will be ready to inspire the team to achieve goals and improve Factory Operations by aligning a vision for the team and executing on this vision. This position will have a high level of autonomy in forecasting for both short-term and long-term strategy under the guidance of LesserEvil's Leadership Team.

Schedule Generally Monday-Friday but with the nature of facilities that operate 24-hours, Monday-Saturday, there are times when early, overnight and weekend hours are necessary. There is an expectation that you will be available off shift for phone calls when emergencies arise.

Main Responsibilities: Oversee the entire production process focusing on staffing, throughput, product quality and facility safety across all shifts. Make decisions in real time and course correct to achieve optimal production. Mentor, Develop and Inspire all staff with special attention to Factory Managers and Supervisors. Creating and maintaining comprehensive training programs for all positions, with a focus on Machine Operators, Quality Control, and Maintenance Technicians. Assess and implement a waste management reduction program. Oversee daily maintenance operations and work with the incoming Maintenance Manager to optimize equipment run time. Ensure shift change over protocols allow for continuous operations of equipment and a seamless transition between teams. Utilize RedZone data to ensure the plant operations are meeting key workplace objectives. Consistent focus on reducing downtime based on RedZone metrics. Create accountability throughout the facility by establishing clear goals that align with the organization's vision. Effectively strategize and plan to keep employee morale and engagement high, especially during times of change. Communicate with upper management to give feedback on operational issues and improvements. Utilizing a continuous improvement mindset by recommending improvements to processes and procedures. Performs other related duties as assigned and special projects as designated.

Operational Responsibilities: Ensure all lines are running efficiently with product quality being the top priority. Ensure staff is using Redzone as required. This includes a focus on the continued implementation + general upkeep of RedZone's training module (onboarding, training, user generated plays, etc.) Ensure all product specifications and QA standards are met. Must be familiar with all codes and policies outlined in the SQF program as they pertain to the job responsibilities listed. They must be knowledgeable in the FMC Program in all aspects including GMP's

Mentor, develop and inspire team leaders to encourage growth and skill development through counseling, hands-on training, and other methods. Create and develop a team oriented atmosphere and culture to achieve the best results.

Qualifications High School degree or equivalent work experience 8+ years of factory production experience *If you are someone who has moved from entry-level to management in a factory/production environment we definitely want to talk to you! 4-5+ years of factory management experience Bilingual, English and Spanish preferred English written and verbal communication skills Ability to work without direct supervision Ability to collaborate with different departments Proficient with Gmail, Excel and/or Google Sheet

Working Conditions Meeting standards of GMP/SQF Able to work safely in loud, automated machine intense areas. Able to work in conditions that may be loud, wet, and/or dusty from airborne particles Able to work in conditions with unregulated/varying temperatures Able to work in conditions where floors may be slippery due to environmental hazards (ex. raw materials overflow, splashing of water in sanitation area, etc.) Able to work in conditions where PPE may be required (Respirator, face mask, etc.) Prolonged periods of standing, bending, sitting, kneeling, crouching or climbing. Climbing ladders and/or stairs. Comfortable working from a mezzanine with active machinery Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers.

Eligibility Requirements Must be authorized to work in the United States Must be willing to work in Danbury, CT Able to lift at least 50 lbs. Able to bend, lift, pull. Must have a reliable vehicle as daily trips between factory, warehouse, and office may be necessary
