Cook Full Time Hourly (Must be 18+ years of age) Estimated pay range $18- $20 depending on qualifications and experience Position Description: Cooks prepare the highest quality food items for retail by following established recipes, standards and procedures. Your day-to-day: + Inventory cases and prepare production list + Follow recipes to prepare food items + Rotate products on display + Adhere to all health, sanitation, and safety regulations + Assist in other duties, as assigned + Provide exceptional customer service What you bring to the team: + Passionate about food + Self-motivator + Reliable + Flexible schedule and willingness to work + Honest Working Conditions: + This position requires frequent standing, walking, and occasional pulling, pushing, squatting, reaching, and lifting with a maximum of 50lbs + This position requires occasional exposure to cramped or confined spaces, extreme heat (non-weather related), and noise Education and Experience (include knowledge, skills and abilities): + High school diploma or equivalent with 1 to 3 years of experience + Line cook/buffet experience a plus + Knowledge on food preparation + Food safety knowledge or Servsafe a plus + Ability to follow recipes/menu and basic food measurements + Availability to close on weekends especially Sunday nights. Ex.12-830, weekly openings 8-430 + Must close two nights a week minimum, must include weekend closing shifts. Not only Monday, Tuesday etc. + Ability to document on waste logs, take food temp logs etc + Produce high volumes of food and prep for catering and buffet during 4th quarter + Safely use/operate knives, ovens, scales, wrapping machine, steamers, mixers, and all other equipment required in the day to day operation of the kitchen + Excellent customer service + Good oral communication skills Why you’ll love working here!
