Position Overview
Philadelphia commercial aspires to be top-of-mind as the single source commercial flooring provider, we partner with architectural and design firms, end users and dealers to provide the right balance of design, speed and price. Our speed, breadth, value, service/ease of transaction enable clients to get the best design for their budget and timeline. The focus for this role includes consumer strategy, customer acquisition and demand generation, customer experience and meeting revenue and profitability targets and will have a direct impact on Shaw’s success and the success of each stakeholder group.
We’re looking for a leader who is strategic, social, and highly-motivated to lead a team and develop consumer centric brand strategy within a fast-paced, innovative, and customer-centric organization. They must be able to navigate complexity and communicate effectively to a broad, diverse organization. They need to be passionate about building a business focused on consumer segments, channel success and profitable growth for Shaw. Lead and assist with essential marketing duties including but not limited to media engagement and inquiries; product launch support materials; website content and functionality; training materials for sales support; and customer events and engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
Create Marketing Plans
Develop and implement comprehensive marketing plans inclusive of product, pricing, merchandising and promotional strategy to achieve brand objectives across multiple channels
Financial Management
Establish and manage budgets for all marketing initiatives and ensure KPIs are established for each project and those metrics are used to improve strategy and optimize results.
Insights delivered to the organization and to our clients
The Director will be a thought leader on the targeted consumer segments, relevant channels and how brand intersects the two to build world class customer experiences that drive profitable growth.
Optimize Brand Voice and Visual Presence to Create Brand Equity
Collaborate with Product, Design, Digital and across the organization to ensure the brand is consistently brought to life across all channels and consumer touchpoints enhancing the impact of the brand. This includes product launch, digital properties and merchandising.
Lead the Development of Sales Tools
Create sales tools needed for our sales team and RSAs to effectively communicate solutions to the market.
Lead Creation of Marketing Campaigns
Create integrated marketing plans that engage customers across key channels and help drive key initiatives aligned to the brand strategy. This includes digital, social and in-store merchandising.
Organize, train and motivate organization’s understanding and acceptance of brand
Working with Product Teams, deliver the voice of our sales force and other disciplines into the organization through connected feedback loops and advocacy. Work with the Shaw Learning Academy to create and execute training programs.

Analyze market trends and customer insights to inform product + marketing decisions
Essential Duties:
Lead the brand marketing and creative team.
Develop and execute brand strategy for brand focused on target consumer segments and channels.
Work with other key stakeholders to develop brand business plan and associated marketing plan.
Develop omni channel consumer experiences across the consumer journey and work with associates and customers to execute.

Leading Indicators
Completion of strategic plans at brand and market level.
Project completions, including product and marketing tools
Enhance recognition and engagement within target segments
Lagging Indicators
Growth in revenue, contribution and market share. Meeting business plans
Non-essential Duties:

Other Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business or related field
5 years brand management, marketing, or related business experience
Proven track record in brand marketing with a focus on strategic planning and execution
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market data and customer insights
Must be self-motivated and possess good organizational skills.
Requires excellent communication and leadership skills.
Requires good time management skills.
Must work well under pressure.
Must conduct oneself professionally both in the workplace and the community.
Accept assignments that require additional training.
Must be a team player.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to bend, reach above one’s head, and occasionally lift up to twenty-five pounds.
Must be able to travel, unassisted and unsupervised.
