Amazon Training Program Manager, Enterprise Support Learning & Development in Dallas, Texas

The AWS Enterprise Support Learning & Development (L&D) Team is looking for a passionate, innovative, results-oriented Program Manager to drive efficient training operations at scale. We provide training products and learning solutions that enable our talented Technical Account Managers (TAMs) to deliver services for Enterprise Support customers.

As a Training Program Manager, you will enable our global training strategy through daily operational support. You will drive efficient operational processes, liaise with critical stakeholders, and help define ways to improve our operational efficiency. You will do this by creating solutions that team members want to adopt, share and improve.

As a member of the worldwide Enterprise Support team, you will work to deeply understand the learner and facilitator experience. You will drive our delivery mechanisms (inputs, tools, adoption, inspection, outputs and continuous improvements) while working with teams all over the world.

In this role, you will drive continuous improvement and act as an essential part of the global L&D team. You will build relationships, work quickly and efficiently, and maintain a high quality bar for your work.

The right candidate earns trust through outstanding performance, effective communication skills, and a strong record of delivering results on time. You should have experience managing global scheduling for an operational/engineering organization or in a learning role with a large multi-national, preferably a tech company. The ideal candidate has a general understanding of cloud technology, operations experience, and a proven record of strong performance. Attention to detail and a demonstrated ability to balance multiple tasks are key to success.

Key job responsibilities

  • Maintain a global schedule of trainings offered

  • Collaborate with our pool of available facilitators to ensure we have the right number of sessions offered globally

  • Adjust and adapt our training schedule to balance learner and facilitator capacity and required changes

  • Maintain facilitator and learner data in centralized systems to track global training completion rates

  • Define metrics and KPIs to measure success of strategic initiatives and programs and report on their progress.

  • Manage programs to scale and improve the learner and TAM experience with our training and enablement offerings.

  • Work closely with our community of subject matter experts (SMEs) to grow our pool of qualified trainers

About Sales, Marketing and Global Services (SMGS)

AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector.

Basic Qualifications

  • 2+ years of program or project management experience

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent

  • Experience with technical customer service organizations

  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements

  • Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (e.g., pivot tables & charts, multiple criteria lookups, nested logical/IF formulas, data cleansing, array formulas, etc.)

  • Experience with Six Sigma tools and Lean techniques

  • 3+ years of program or project management experience

  • Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams

  • Experience supporting training for technical/IT and account management related positions

  • Experience working with and integrating the use of knowledge bases and online reference for learning and performance support

  • Experience using data collection, research, and analysis to evaluate project outcomes and improve individual and organizational performance
