As a Marketing Intern, not only will you play an important part in helping us share our food philosophy story but also gain experience in all things marketing/advertising! Essential functions and responsibilities of the position may vary by the position.

Job Responsibilities

• Film and edit trendy videos for social media

• Learn about managing our social media accounts on Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook

• Create designs with Canva or Adobe software

• Create content calendars for our retail and residential dining locations

• Table when campaigns need it

• Be the face of SMU Dining on socials and face-to-face tabling

• Create and learn from email marketing

• Try locations around campus and review them for our socials

• Attend dining hall events to photograph and film for our socials

• Interview students about campus dining locations

• FREE meal on us while you work!

Qualifications

• Marketing / Advertising interest

• Demonstrate guest service skills

• Want to learn and be a team player

This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
