The American Heart Association has an excellent opportunity for a Sr. Project Coordinator in our Mission Advancement department, working with our Operations team based out of our National Center office!
This is an office-based position located at our National Center in Dallas, TX.

Responsibilities
This individual will manage day-to-day administration, including calendar and travel management, and be responsible for ongoing and special project assignments, to include funding opportunities management support, internal communications resource support, project updates and reporting via the Asana project management platform, data quality projects and routine updates and reporting via our Salesforce Customer Relationship Management (CRM) database. This role serves as Mission Advancement’s Staff Ambassador, serving as a resource for new and departing staff members and managing special projects related to staff engagement. The Senior Project Coordinator for Mission Advancement Operations also supervises Mission Advancement work sites and storage areas at National Center, ensuring the office space and equipment/supplies meet the needs of the team located at National Center and that our storage areas are well organized and maintained.
The successful candidate in this role is a self-motivated and driven individual with a natural curiosity and sense of urgency that leads to continual development of new skills, an understanding and knowledge of Mission Advancement areas of business, the Association's Mission, and goals, and the ability to assume increasing levels of responsibility.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Two (2) – Five (5) years of relevant experience
Experience providing administrative support, including calendar management, travel arrangements and expense reports.
High level of technology skills, with the ability to quickly learn and embrace new software and platforms required by the role.
Exceptional organization skills
Experience managing special projects from start to finish
Excellent English-language writing and grammar
Ability to initiate support and collaborate with all levels of staff, prospects, volunteers and donors, with a friendly demeanor and natural desire to assist.
Experience using donor relationship management software, such as Salesforce CRM, MS-Dynamics, and/or Raiser’s Edge
Preferred Experience:
Understanding of the philanthropic environment
Experience in fundraising
Experience in a non-profit, hospital, research, or academic institution
Experience working with colleagues in remote locations and within different time zone
