We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager to lead our Product Agility and Technical Coaching team. This individual will play a pivotal role in catalyzing transformation and enhancing the performance of software engineering teams across the organization. The ideal candidate will have the following:

The role is a part of the Product Agility team within our Technology Strategy, Transformation, and Global Efficiency / Delivery Transformation group
What you'll do

Lead a team of technical coaches, responsible for the continuous improvement of engineering and product teams
Drive transformation initiatives, helping teams adopt modern technical practices, product agility, and an iterative learning mindset
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, and leadership, to instill Agile principles and practices that optimize product delivery and performance
Implement and oversee an immersive coaching program, modeled on, but distinct from, a traditional dojo, to help teams improve both their technical and product practices
Partner with technical teams to guide pair programming, test-driven development (TDD), and clean coding practices
Collaborate with leaders and stakeholders to understand product and technical challenges and deliver tailored coaching interventions
Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement by promoting cutting-edge development methodologies, such as DevOps, CI/CD, and Agile at scale
Monitor team performance and the impact of coaching interventions, providing feedback and adjustments to improve outcomes
Work closely with peers in the product coaching space in order to create effective technical- and non-technical interventions and experiences for product teams and their leaders toward the transformation goals of the organization
All you'll need for success
Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
7+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role focused on coaching or transformation
Proven experience in a leadership role focused on technical coaching, product agility, and team transformation
Strong technical background with demonstrated hands-on experience in software engineering practices, including pair programming, clean code, DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-native architectures
Demonstrated experience with Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, etc.) and Lean principles
Expertise in designing and implementing coaching programs tailored to both technical teams and product leaders
Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
Certifications in Agile practices or coaching, such as Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Certified Agile Coach (ICP-ACC), Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), or Professional Agile Leadership (PAL)
Certification in technical coaching practices, such as TDD Coaching or Agile Technical Facilitator programs
Skills, Licenses & Certifications
Exceptional communication, collaboration, and leadership skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization
Experience leading or participating in transformation programs for product and engineering teams
Passion for teaching, mentoring, and building high-performing teams through immersive, hands-on learning experiences
Technically proficient and an expert in coaching and mentoring, capable of guiding teams toward excellence in agility, technical practices, and product delivery
