BALFOUR BEATTY CONSTRUCTION LLC Senior Project Manager in Dallas, Texas
Coordinate administrative and technical requirements of construction projects, including activities related to contract administration, change orders, submittals, procurement, project financials setup/updates, and schedules. Create and manage the project's budget and coordinate the Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) development. Develop and complete monthly Projected Final Cost Report (PFR) and Labor Cost Report (LCR) projections on time. Create a ProjectIncentive Compensation Plan within 30 days of GMP acceptance. Collaborate with Preconstruction to prepare, review, and monitor information and reports related to all costs involved in developing the project's budget. Determine the quantity of budget estimates/deliverables to the client. Manage the subcontracting process, including holding initial scope review meetings, finalizing agreed price, developing subcontract scope of work, and managing the subcontract distribution, final execution process, and the implementation of Zero Harm in Preconstruction. Develop, comply with, and report on Minority Business Entity (MBE) requirements for the project, as required. Develop the Mission Alignment Plan with the client and administer it. Develop and implement the Sustainability Action Plan (SAP) and associated budget with the project team. Collaborate with scheduling, superintendent, subcontractors, and suppliers to create a construction schedule. Ensure that the project site and company assets are secure and maintain a safe and respectful working environment at all times by implementing programs for safety and loss prevention, Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO), risk management, training, and quality control. Build effective relationships with customers, the design team, subcontractors, suppliers, and user groups that reflect and support company core values and meet or exceed customer expectations. Possible relocation to unanticipated work sites throughout the United States.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field, and three years of experience in construction project engineering.
- Alternatively, a master's degree in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field, and three years of experience in construction project engineering.
- Three years of preconstruction and construction project management experience on aviation projects and working with airport staff and outside agencies.
- Experience with airport safety compliance requirements.
- Experience with building codes and building material compatibility, value engineer processes, and commercial construction project management; developing project and value cost reports, budget forecasting, subcontractor award and procurement, and estimate preparation for planning, organizing, and scheduling in the construction industry; building effective relationships with customers, design team, subcontractors, suppliers, and related used groups; executing construction project administration and daily operations; and preparing and maintaining project schedules, milestone dates, and close-out checklists.
- Proficiency with contract requirements including bonds, fees, notifications, schedules, reporting, and costs.
