Job Description

Our client, a large rail and airline hospitality company, is looking for a Senior Network Engineer in Irving, Tx.

Right now, they need a Senior Network Engineer to join their team to partner with their current network engineer and be responsible for network engineering, managing 3rd party vendors, developing documentation, and completing networking projects and interact extensively with technical and non-technical users as needed. Ideally, someone who is also skilled in SD-WAN, Cisco, Meraki, and Palo Alto.

This is a 6-month Contract-to-Hire role, minimum 3 days onsite, 2 days remote, with a $60-70/hr. pay rate.

Required Skills & Experience

5+ experience with the following:

  • Cisco switches, SD-WAN, routing, IP address management and firewall management

  • Managing 3rd party vendors providing services in remote locations

  • Developing documentation “How to’s”

  • Servers, pc’s, and application knowledge is preferred

  • Project management

  • Verbal and written communication skills

  • All cisco shops

The Offer
