Sales Executive, Senior

What does a great Sales Executive do at Fiserv?

As a Sales Executive at Fiserv, you will play a crucial role in building strategic relationships with senior leaders to acquire new clients for our products and solutions. With your consistent track record of opening new accounts and driving complex solutions sales, you will be essential to our success in delivering differentiated customer value. As a strategic advisor, you will utilize your in-depth understanding of clients' businesses, goals, strategies, and industry trends to align prospects' visions and requirements with our solutions portfolio.

What you will do:

  • Drive sales and demand generation activity to build a pipeline and achieve sales quotas and objectives.

  • Establish regular communication with clients at all levels, effectively articulating the Fiserv value proposition.

  • Lead multiple opportunities simultaneously, following our sales process methodology to identify, execute, and close new business.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with executive leaders, relationship managers, product experts, and legal partners.

  • Develop and execute territory plans, evaluating and revising them as needed to maximize business opportunities.

  • Leverage your understanding of client buying processes and network across the C-Suite of large Financial Institutions.

  • Attract new clients and product solutions within the assigned Financial Institution segment and geography.

  • Focus on selling strategic payments solutions with emphasis on small business payments and Fiserv traditional retail electronic payments solutions within $20B+ Asset Financial Institutions.

  • Consult on client needs and present solutions aligned with unique and sometimes complex client requirements.

  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of the solution selling methodology and embrace a consultative sales approach.

What you will need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree or a combination of work experience, education, and military experience.

  • 5 years of experience in sales and/or business development roles with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding quotas.

  • Demonstrated ability to build and sustain relationships at a senior level, gaining trusted advisor status.

  • Strong influencing and negotiation skills.

  • Experience in technology software or services sales to large accounts.

What would be great to have:

  • Proven ability to successfully navigate and influence senior-level clients.

  • Prior knowledge of Fiserv and former First Data product offerings.

  • Experience in selling to the finance or banking industry.

  • Familiarity with CRM software and sales prospecting tools.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.

This role is not eligible to be performed in Colorado, California, District of Columbia, Hawaii, Maryland, New York, Nevada, Rhode Island or Washington.
