Jacobs Project Controls Analyst - TX, CO, MN, ND (22624) in Dallas, Texas

The PC Analyst provides day-to-day support and execution of project controls functions for projects and programs. This role supervises project controls staff and is responsible for cost control and schedule monitoring, analysis, forecasting, and reporting. The analyst manages overall project and program cost controls and reporting functions by supporting client management, updates, and presentations to all levels of management.

Responsibilities:

  • Work in either an office or field environment location.

  • Predominantly responsible for controls activities at the project level, including, cost, schedule and document management

  • Develop, monitor, track, analyze, forecast, and advise Project Team on:

  • Project budgets

  • Estimates to complete

  • Commitments and expenditures

  • Project progress and productivity

  • Work plans and schedules

  • Project cost implications

  • Project cost at completion

  • WBS cost coding

  • Subcontracts

  • Change management

  • Identify areas of risk through interpretation of controls information.

  • Work closely with project managers, operations managers, and accountants.

  • BS in Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management

  • Minimum 7 years position related experience with computer skills using MS Office tools and the most current project management software programs.

  • Experience in both engineering/design and underground utilities type projects as well as with Primavera and earned value performance measurement systems a plus.

  • Must be able to create effective presentations using PowerPoint and present them to the senior operations management and clients.
