Responsibilities

● Extensive hands-on experience in a manufacturing or production environment, particularly in industries related to furniture manufacturing or refurbishing. Knowledge of production processes, equipment, and technology specific to the industry is crucial. ● Proven experience in supervising and leading a team within a production or warehouse setting. Ability to motivate staff, manage team dynamics, and develop skills within the team. ● Experience in setting up and managing quality control systems to ensure products meet required standards. Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies such as LEAN, Six Sigma, 5S, or similar approaches would be advantageous. ● Demonstrated ability to manage inventory and understand logistics, including procurement, storage, and supply chain optimization. Skills in using inventory management systems and implementing efficient stock control mechanisms are important. ● Experience in enforcing safety standards and compliance within a production environment, including conducting safety audits, risk assessments, and training sessions.
