Job Summary

Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and detailed-oriented Prep Cook to join our Culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing food in accordance with applicable federal, state, and corporate standards, guidelines and regulations with established policies and procedures. Ensures quality food service is always provided.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions to meet production, delivery, and service schedules.

• Uses established ticket collection procedures during service. Responsible for records from area worked during service periods.

• Cleans kitchen after preparation and serving, maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Stores or discards excess food in accordance with safe food-handling procedures.

  Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment.

• Strong attention to detail with ability to follow recipes and cooking techniques. Knowledge of food safety and sanitation guidelines.

• Ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift to (50) pounds.

• Valid ServSafe or state approved food handler’s certification.
