TEKsystems Patient Assistance Counselor in Dallas, Texas
Description:
The Patient Assistance Counselor provides support to those patients who are uninsured or underinsured who have limited benefit coverage and or who have high out of pocket prescription and medical expenses which may qualify them into the Patient Assistance Program. The PAC provides high quality customer service to both patient and healthcare providers HCPs for specialty prescription medication provided by the Patient Assistance Program. The PAC will coordinate review of all application documents conduct insurance investigations when applicable assess patients financial information and provide an outcome status to patients and HCPs.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
5+ years of high volume insurance verification/prior authorizations experience
5+ years of healthcare call center experience
Experience working with denials/appeals
Ability to work ANY shift between 7am-7pm CST Mon-Fri.
Quiet workspace that is HIPPA compliant (nobody can hear your phone calls or see your computer screen, including family members)
