AT&T Lead Product Management & Develop in Dallas, Texas

Job Description:

This role sits within the AT&T Mass Markets Product Management organization. You will be a critical member of the Product Features team engaging in strategic thought leadership, financial acumen, and cross-company collaboration.

As a key member of the Product Features team, you will be responsible for every aspect of our strategy including opportunity sizing, competitive research, product fit assessments, go-to-market, and financial and business case modeling.

The ideal candidate will be able to effectively collaborate with engineering, marketing, sales, customer support, technology partners, and direct customers. They will be responsible for driving and developing product launch materials through the entire lifecycle, including sales enablement collateral, customer and partner presentations, videos, and sales training materials.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Research, design, plan, develop, and evaluate new products or features by translating and documenting customer and technical requirements into final product design.

  • Leads product strategy to bring new solutions and features to market, including concept development, market sizing, requesting and managing capital investment, partnering with technical development teams, and leading cross functional business and go-to-market teams.

  • Analyze customer needs, identify priorities for new products or services and enhancements.

  • Conduct research and analysis on defined market, including addressable revenue potential, competitive analysis, definition of product functionality and existing customer segments, volumes, and revenue results.

  • Prepare and present requirements, plans, and business cases for new or modified products and services.

  • Partner with business, technology and UX teams to design or modify products to meet market, budget, and schedule specifications.

  • Create product roadmaps, service guides, product documentation, results reports/analysis, and project plans.

  • May be responsible for managing budgets, acquiring estimates and requests for funding through the capital process.

  • Responsible for the business case and P&L for assigned products.

  • Serve as the central resource with design, process, manufacturing, test, quality, sales support, and marketing as the product(s)move to production and distribution.

  • Manage ongoing lifecycle product performance.

  • Work with 3rd party technology partners in support of new product development and improve product cost structure, feature functionality, and product support.

  • Leads core project teams consisting of key delivery, operational and cross functional stakeholders (e.g., care, digital, finance, legal, marketing, pricing, sales, supply chain and technology development)

  • Understands basic financial metrics and how those drive value for the business.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent experience.

  • Master’s degree preferred in Business, Strategy, Engineering, or equivalent experience.

Experience:

  • Requires 7+ years’ experience.

Qualifications:

  • Required: Ability to leverage consulting frameworks to ingest large amounts of data and turn into succinct insights and presentations for senior leadership

  • Preferred: proficiency in business case modeling, PowerPoint, and understanding of wireless and wireline technologies.

Our Lead Product Management & Develop, earn between $143,800 - $215,800. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
