Description

We are offering an interim Payroll Manager opportunity located in Dallas, Texas, 75248. This role is for an interim Payroll Manager who will be responsible for overseeing payroll services and ensuring accurate and timely payment to all organization employees. This role involves liaising with the Finance and HR departments and dealing with any payroll-related inquiries. This is a 2-3 month contract position. 100% ONSITE in Dallas, TX 75248.

Interim Payroll Manager (contract):

Responsibilities:

• Oversee payroll services with third-party vendor to ensure timely and accurate payment to all organization employees.

• Act as the primary liaison between our company and the payroll processing company, addressing any issues, discrepancies, or additional requirements.

• Review, approve, and reconcile payroll reports, ensuring all data is accurate and up to date.

• Collaborate with the Finance and HR departments to align all payroll records and employee information.

• Efficiently address all payroll-related inquiries from employees.

• Stay updated on the latest federal, state, and local tax and employment laws to ensure compliance in all transactions.

• Test and implement new payroll systems and enhancements in collaboration with the outsourced payroll vendor.

• Conduct regular audits of payroll data provided by the outsourced service provider.

• Drive best practices in the payroll process and continually improve operational efficiency.

• Utilize skills in 'ADP - Financial Services', 'ADP Workforce Now', 'Ceridian', 'Data Processing', 'Great Plains (GPAC)', '401k - RRSP Administration', 'About Time', 'Accounting Functions', 'Benefit Functions', and 'Compliance'.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Payroll Manager

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for liaising with various departments

• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field

• Relevant certifications such as Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) would be advantageous
