Distinguished Programs Inside Sales Representative - Real Estate & Hotel Umbrella in TX, United States

Distinguished Programs is a leading national insurance Program Manager providing specialized insurance programs to brokers and agents with specific expertise in Real Estate, Community Associations, Hospitality, Fine Art/Collectibles, Restaurants, Inland Marine, Executive Lines and Construction Professionals & Environmental. The Inside Sales Representative will function as a dual-faceted professional, blending the responsibilities of inside sales, business development and sales support/operations. You will be part of  the country’s first and longest-running Real Estate Umbrella Liability insurance purchasing group.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct broker outreach to new and existing brokers to support the Umbrella program strategic growth initiatives and selling of products

  • Assist prospecting efforts of Sales Executives to increase submission flow

  • Build and maintain relationships with existing brokers through various channels including telephone and email correspondence.

  • Support of outside Sales Executive team while traveling, on PTO, or times of heavy submission flow

  • Meet with SE team m onthly to discuss brokerages who are on a developmental track and have potential to grow with Distinguished

  • Assist with broker logins, registration and clearance when there are technical issues

  • Develop expertise with our Express Hotel product to increase flow and streamline connection with underwriting and sales. Follow up on quoted submissions and help obtain trailing documents on accounts

  • Provide onboarding to newly registered brokerages with an intro call, product overview, and setting up users with access to portal

  • Partner with hotel primary team to identify x-sell opportunities

  • Support of the sales team in projects and sales initiatives

    SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of 3 years in the Property & Casualty insurance industry

  • P&C insurance license preferred (6 months preparation time permitted)

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office w/ expertise in Excel and pivot tables

  • Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms.

  • Sales and service oriented

  • Analytical, time management and organizational skills

  • Action oriented, problem solver and self-directed

    LOCATION

  • Remote - Texas

    COMPENSATION AND PERKS

  • $ 65,000 - $85,000 base salary plus bonus. Salary commensurate with knowledge, skills, experience, and geographic location.

  • Summer Fridays (Leave at 2:00PM all Fridays from Memorial Day to Labor Day).
