About This Role:

The Industrial Inside Sales Representative will be part of a collaborative sales team that will be responsible for proactively selling to both existing and new customers within a defined geographic territory. In this role, you will conduct virtual customer interactions to build a funnel, prospect for new clients, provide existing customer account management, and pursue new projects. To be successful in this role, you will need to quickly build customer rapport and establish trust and credibility through a consultative selling style. You will develop close relationships with team members within a sales geography and will support and contribute to the overall Hach North America Sales Strategy.

This role will work remotely from your home office , but our ideal candidate will be based in Texas .

What Will You Do?:

  • Engage clients and prospects via phone to identify sales opportunities for immediate closure, funnel placement or assignment for the development and growth of individual sales territory

  • Execute a consultative sales strategy with our internal solution selling methodology - we’ll provide extensive sales methodology and product training!

  • Handle technical and application sales questions from customers and provide prompt responses including quotes or technical advice

  • Populate and maintain the highest standards of data integrity in Salesforce.com

  • Collect and provide constructive feedback to management with the intent of driving continuous improvement of the inside sales process

  • Collaborate with other sellers to continue to improve inside sales prospecting processes

  • Contribute to creative promotional programs

What Will You Need?:

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • 3 years minimum sales experience, specifically progressive tele-sales experience selling products and services in a business-to-business (B2B) environment

  • Demonstrated ability to listen to and seek out solutions to customer needs

  • Proven ability at cross-selling and up-selling; demonstrated experience increasing revenue within existing accounts by broadening and deepening solution placement

  • Ability to handle technical questions relating to the product.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

  • Strong working knowledge of SFDC.

It will be helpful if you have knowledge of the operation of water plants and or laboratories, water testing requirements and procedures, and water control regulations that apply to plants!

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associate’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.

The compensation range for this role is $30.00 - $32.00 USD per hour.

This job is also eligible for Incentive Pay.

We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees.
