Insight Global is seeking talented Gitlab Engineers to join a leading financial institution in London and Dallas. This recruitment drive responds to delays in critical risk and regulatory projects across multiple engineering teams, necessitating an immediate expansion of the development workforce to ensure timely completion. The ideal candidates will have a minimum of 3+ years of GitLab experience and be comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Consultants are expected to work on-site 5 days per week. More specifically, the chosen candidate has to have experience running GitLab or similar git-type software development platforms. This initiative begins with a six-month contract, with strong potential for extensions based on performance and project needs. Skills and Requirements

3-7 years of experience as a Gitlab Engineer

Experience running a GitLab or similar git-type software development platforms, actually running the platform (i.e. GitHub, Jenkins etc.)

Experience with major version upgrades of GitLab version, firewall policies, monitoring etc.

Experience with tech risk findings to do with authorization and entitlements

Understanding of impacts of GitLab version upgrades

Experience with AWS Infrastructure e.g. S3EKS, RDS

Strong understanding of DevOps Previous financial services experience

Experience with GitLab version 15 and 16 null
