Cartamundi Facilities Lead in Dallas, Texas

The Facilities Lead will be responsible for managing and performing various skilled labor duties, maintaining, and repairing the facility, including facility equipment and grounds. This role will be dedicated to ensuring a safe and efficient working environment for all employees.
What You’ll Do As a Facilities Lead:
Ensure all building facilities adhere to proper safety standards and cleaning procedures
Maintain equipment and building provisions to meet health and safety requirements
Organize and plan building installments and refurbishments
Lead facilities staff and communicate with external contractors and vendors
Maintain all facilities up to code and accurately follow maintenance protocol
Delegate cleaning and maintenance responsibilities to team members
Run routine maintenance inspections
Monitor interior and exterior areas of building for cleanliness and general conservation
Prepare and implement project budgets and timeframes
Comply with all health and safety policies and procedures
Support maintenance and installment work as needed
Partner with other facility and maintenance team members, to ensure all site needs are resolved in a safe and timely manner.
Support manager (Manager of Facilities) as needed
We’re Looking For a Facilities Lead with:
3-5 years facilities experience in a manufacturing / plant / large operating facility
Advanced mechanical and plumbing skills
Knowledge of HVAC and other building systems
Excellent time management and multitasking skills
Experience planning and scheduling recurring maintenance repairs and putting in place preventative procedures
Experience handling contractors / vendors that will occasionally provide services at the site
Professional and positive demeanor that can support and interact across different levels
Certified Facility credential (or similar) is a plus

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
Our manufacturing Plant is comprised of enclosed office and manufacturing space. This position requires the ability to:
Move throughout the entire facility to attend to various issues
Work effectively in teams across functional groups with strong communication skills and the ability to lead
Perform occasional sedentary work on various computer systems
Physically able to lift heavy objects
This Facilities Lead position is located on-site in our Dallas facility
