DALLAS CAPITAL BANK NATIONAL Director of IT and Information Security Officer in Dallas, Texas

At Dallas Capital Bank, we rely on IT systems to power the solutions that help our clients. We're seeking an experienced IT director who has the technological skills to make us even more efficient. This person will lead, develop and manage all aspects of the IT environment. This includes day-to-day network operations, IT related move/add/change activity, infrastructure support, third party vendor management, IT policy management, and generally implementing technology solutions that meet the needs of the organization while ensuring system security and efficiency. The IT director will have an immediate impact on the day-to-day efficiency of our operations and a long-term impact on our overall growth.

The role of the Information Security Officer is to ensure strong Information and cybersecurity controls exist within all infrastructure and business applications used by the Bank. This includes being involved with the design, development, implementation and maintenance of cybersecurity prevention protocols. This is a strategic IT and business role with a high level of visibility, responsibility and accountability. Qualities of this role include general leadership skills and ability to work with internal stakeholders and third-party vendors; augmented with thorough knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

QUALIFICATIONS / EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science or equivalent is required; masters degree or MBA preferred.
  • Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, PMP is preferred.
  • 10 plus years of experience in IT Management with at least 5 years in banking sector.
  • Strong knowledge of core banking systems and cybersecurity best practices.
  • Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and managing technology projects.
  • Understanding of federal and state banking regulations, including IT governance standards.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication, leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

WORKING CONDITIONS / ENVIRONMENT:

HOURS:Monday - Friday (Onsite/Non-Remote)

8am - 5pm

Some variation in work hours may be required as job duties demand
