Job Description:
Leads the department and collaboratively partners with other Division of Student Affairs units, departments and academic colleges. Enhances student health activities and services to be incorporated across the campus, including all university recruitment and retention efforts to build a culture of well being. Oversees the management, facility and equipment maintenance, operation, and staffing schedules of the clinic. Stays informed with and ensures compliance with University policies, regulations, and best practices in college health and student affairs. Ensures adherence to federal, state, and local health regulations, including Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act ( FERPA ) and the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 ( HIPAA ). Some nights and weekends may be required. Other duties as assigned to support the strategic goals and initiatives of Student Affairs.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in a related field. Three (3) years of related healthcare experience and three (3) years of supervisory experience.
Preferred Education and Experience:
Candidates who qualify with three (3) or more years of experience in a higher education student health center and/or an outpatient clinic setting will be given preference.
