Overview

The Digital Marketing Manager will report to the Sr. Director of Marketing & Communications and have responsibility for executing marketing campaigns and analyzing performance data to inform refinements. This hands-on role will help to build and manage data-driven programs that generate leads and enhance the client experience through marketing automation, SEO, social/PPC ads, and other online channels.

This position will be a key part of the marketing organization and work cross-functionally with other departments to enhance the company’s overall digital presence. This will include but is not limited to standing up client journeys within a CRM platform and working closely with management to develop regular reports on KPIs. This position will be tasked to support various lines of business and must be comfortable with helping to manage outside agencies.

The ideal candidate will be analytical, demonstrate attention to detail, and will be able to deliver in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment. This person should remain up to date with digital marketing trends and policies to influence the company’s overall digital strategy. This position is full-time and remotely based so it is important to have experience working collaboratively with a remote team.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Actively build, monitor, and analyze campaigns while presenting recommendations to optimize budget utilization for paid search, display, and social media advertising to reach targets.

  • Assist in managing outside agencies and other vendor partners responsible for web development, paid media, SEO and other marketing activities.

  • Develop a deep understanding of client journeys and serve as the key contributor within our CRM platform to build and refine marketing automation that supports lead-gen and client nurturing initiatives.

  • Assist in the development of an e-commerce platform and loyalty program to drive consumer engagement and loyalty.

  • Work to uncover customer insights, report on site and page-level data through Google Analytics and recommend strategy improvements to online and email content.

  • Report on KPIs for management and client partners to ensure maximum ROI of digital channels and marketing campaigns.

  • Utilize strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points.

  • Collaborate with marketing leadership and cross-functional teams to translate ideas into effective digital marketing strategies to support new product launches and core service offerings to B2B and B2C audiences.

  • Create and deliver emails and other communications to prospects, residents, team members, clients and stakeholders.

  • Provide recommendations to marketing leadership to incorporate new tools and build new capabilities as needed

What we’re looking for

Required Education & Experience

  • At least 3-5 years of hands-on experience in Digital Marketing/Marketing Analytics; corporate or agency experience

  • The ideal candidate should have a bachelor’s degree with experience in advertising, communications or marketing

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work independently and efficiently on concurrent projects and with internal staff and outside partners/vendors is a requirement

  • Candidate must be able to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborate and remote team environment

Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

  • Familiarity and proficiency using Salesforce Marketing Cloud (Pardot) or similar Marketing Automation Platforms to build and manage campaigns at various points of the client journey

  • Deep understanding of digital marketing fundamentals including SEO, display, retargeting, social media, paid search, and email marketing

  • Proven experience with Google Analytics, Google Ads, and Meta Ad Manager, especially in tracking campaign performance and establishing targets

  • Expertise and experience in e-commerce platforms or managing loyalty programs

  • Comfortable managing a broad range of digital marketing activities and presenting analysis and recommendations to leadership on campaign performance and refinement

  • Ability to help oversee external agency relationships to ensure success of all digital marketing initiatives

  • Strong problem solver and communicator, able to succeed in a fast-paced environment by working independently with minimal supervision under deadline pressures

  • Certifications in Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Google Ads, or Google Analytics are a plus but not required
