Tatum has been engaged to identify a Corporate Controller for a $300Mil Privately held company. This role will be based out of the North Dallas area. This position is in the office and will be in the 35E and Northwest Highway area. This Controller will be a key position that requires leadership, technical accounting knowledge (GAAP), with a track record of skills to include: communication, management, as well as time management skills.

responsibilities:

• Work with Assistant Controller, Accounts Receivable and Payable Managers and CFO to ensure compliance with state regulatory matters.

• Manage and train the accounting department working with direct reports of Assistant Controller, Accounts Receivable/Credit Manager, Accounts Payable Manager, and Financial Analyst to ensure processes are followed consistently.

• Work with CFO to increase productivity and provide information to Management at all levels including Corporate, Regional, and Branch/Department Managers

• Coordinate annual audit working with CPA firm and regulatory audits

qualifications:

• Certified Public Accountant

• 10 Plus Years of accounting experience

• Working knowledge of ERP and Reporting systems

• Excellent understanding of GAAP, financial analysis, and tax regulations

skills: CPA, Financial Reporting, Epicor, Month-End Close, Financial Audit
