Job Description:
This position supports the strategic centers and institutes currently lead by
MSE faculty and staff, including the BEACONS Center and the North Texas
Semiconductor Institute. This dynamic position requires a highly organized
and detail-oriented individual with strong administrative and project
coordination skills. Will provide coordination of administrative and reporting
activities in the day-to-day operation of an assigned program or project.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in related field.
- A minimum of two years of experience providing support to programs or projects or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Education and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree and five years of office administration or project
management experience including two years at a business
coordinator level or an equivalent combination of education and
experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, PeopleSoft and eProcurement.
• Demonstrated experience providing executive-level administrative
support.
• Demonstrated experience handling confidential and sensitive
information in a professional environment.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently and
collaboratively.
• Experience with project and event management processes and higher
education dynamics is a must.
