Job Description

AECOM Hunt has a need for a Construction Estimator in our Dallas, TX office. Come join our team of construction professionals and help to deliver a better world.

  • Works with the Company estimating systems and processes.

  • Acquire basic level of understanding of estimating terminology, measures, concepts and principles for preparing estimates.

  • Recognizes how various processes/project actions and assumptions may impact estimates.

  • Under supervision prepares bid packages, conceptual estimates and analysis of subcontractor bids, etc. for projects.

  • Performs duties with limited complexity under direct supervision, such as material take offs, compilation of historical data, etc.

  • Expected to assist in the preparation of larger and more complex estimating assignments including the Estimate Plan.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirement:

  • BA/BS Construction Management, Engineering, Finance or related curriculum and 2 years of construction estimating experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.

Preferred Requirements:

  • 2-5 years of construction estimating experience from a large general contractor.

  • Experience estimating construction projects in:

  • aviation

  • life sciences

  • higher education

  • sports/stadium

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).

  • Ability to work independently.

  • Proficiency in Estimating Software such as On-Screen Takeoff.

Additional Information

  • This position does not include sponsorship for United States work authorization now or in the future.

  • This position may include relocation.

  • This position is not hybrid nor remote.

Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $62,895.00 - $116,356.00.
