Job Title: Business Data Analyst

Job location: Westlake, Texas

Job description:

Capgemini is seeking is Business Data Analyst professional to collects, processes, and performs statistical analyses on large datasets using various tools and techniques to interpret data, generate insights, and help organizations make informed decisions

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and document business requirements current and future states and provide constructive feedback for future process improvements.

  • Experience with workflow design data analysis data visualization and impact analysis.

  • Familiar with Agile methodology concept and experience in agile tools such as JIRA Confluence Mural or similar agile backlog management tools

  • Efficiently collaborate to acknowledge the business value to articulate the dependency gaps technical integration etc to enable the product delivery.

  • Participate in daily scrums sprint planning meetings release planning sprint reviews and retrospectives to bridge the technical delivery with product value delivery.

  • Experience with Tableau BI platform and a comprehensive understanding of it server administration database and metadata.

  • Alteryx experience will be an advantage.

  • Excellent understanding of SQL or Python and can independently wrangle our datasets to obtain valuable insights.

  • Perform end to end business acceptance testing and ensure the traceability of test cases.

  • Take initiative to communicate issues/ client feedback with Squad leads and resolve issues in timely manner.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills including ability to summarize and interpret information to influence key stakeholders such as Subject Matter Experts and business partners.

  • Manage dependencies across teams and work on multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Demonstrate leadership by mentoring peers and display critical thinking by managing conflicts with teams

Required Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree required.

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in above mentioned skills.

  • Must be open to relocation.
