Job Description:
Works closely with customers, business analysts, developers and team members to understand business requirements that drive the analysis and design of quality technical solutions, designing and modifying Oracle Hyperion products and building integration to a multitude of ancillary systems, including ERP , to meet user needs and enhance processes. The primary purpose is to maintain application configuration, test, support (issue management, request fulfillment) and provide expert analysis for the Oracle Hyperion applications, PeopleSoft and related tools.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or associate’s degree and 2 years of related experience or high school diploma and 4 years of related experience.
Preferred Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or Accounting or any related field.
Two years working experience in performing business analyst’s functions with proficiency in one of the following areas or tracks:
Perform administrator functions in Hyperion Planning 11.2.X
Experience with Public Sector Planning and Budgeting ( PSPB )
Experience in Hyperion Financial Management ( HFM )
Data Integration ( FDMEE )
Hyperion applications development with experience scheduling jobs and data loads.
Development of Essbase calc scripts, Maxl scripts, business rules and planning forms.
Thorough knowledge of Smart View, Workspace and Planning front-end experience.
Must be comfortable migrating metadata/data/objects between environments.
Hands-on experience with Workiva Reporting
Cherwell (Incident and Problem Management, Request Fulfillment, Change Management, etc.) hands-on experience.
Hands-on experience with one or more PeopleSoft applications with emphasis in PS Financials/Supply Chain Management (Portal/Interaction Hub, Human Capital Management) and integrating PeopleSoft with non -PeopleSoft Applications or third-party systems such as Hyperion, and other financial systems.
Ability to work well with people in all levels of the organization and handle a fast paced, dynamic environment where competing interests and working multiple priorities is the norm.
Excellent organizational skills, leadership skills, promote teamwork, problem-solving, and understanding of systems engineering concepts.
Strong MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, SharePoint, Teams, Project);
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal; including technical writing skills.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Assist with set up and maintenance of end user security, which includes creating and provisioning of user groups, filters and security profiles in alignment with the needs of the business.
Ability to update all Essbase cubes and create ASO cubes.
Strong working knowledge of loading data and metadata into the system via Outline Load Utility.
Possess expertise using Smart View in Hyperion applications.
Ability to create FR and Smart View Reports.
Perform data migrations from Production to lower environments using LCM .
Create and/or update business rules and calculation scripts.
Coordinate the developing and improving of key business processes to create useful forms and reports for users.
Provide support and training as necessary to end-users to ensure all functional users understand the application capabilities delivered and how those capabilities can be utilized to perform their roles.
Experience with SQL is a plus.
Exposure with PeopleSoft is a plus with working knowledge of PeopleSoft Query
Strong skills with operating STAT , Phire, Cherwell or any change management and incident management system.
Strong problem-solving skills;
Ability to quickly interpret and gather requisite information;
Solid work organization and process hand-off skills
Assist business users by resolving Incidents and Service Requests in a timely manner and meet the Service Level Agreements per Operating Level agreement.
Assist with data/problem/issue resolution, process improvement and resolving the root cause of problems.
