Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Bookkeeper in Dallas, Texas. The role is within an accounting firm where the Bookkeeper will be responsible for managing client accounts, maintaining financial records, and performing various bookkeeping duties.

Responsibilities:

• Handle full-charge bookkeeping duties for 10-20 clients depending on their size

• Review and analyze downloaded transactions from QuickBooks

• Prepare financial statements for clients and perform reconciliations

• Use QuickBooks Online and basic Excel for daily tasks

• Account reconciliation to ensure accurate and complete financial records

• Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Perform bank reconciliations to verify the firm's records match the bank statements

• Data entry tasks related to bookkeeping

• Manage month-end close processes

• Handle payroll duties for clients

• Utilize QuickBooks Pro for advanced bookkeeping tasks Requirements • Proficiency in bookkeeping software, particularly QuickBooks, QuickBooks Online, and QuickBooks Pro

• Demonstrated skills in account reconciliation and bank reconciliations

• Experience handling accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR)

• Ability to perform data entry tasks with high level of accuracy

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Experience in processing payroll

• Familiarity with month-end close procedures

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically

• High level of integrity and reliability.
